Doll Making Workshops

Please contact me to organize a workshop either at 131 Richmond Road, London, E8 3NJ or at your own venue.

Generally they run on two Sundays or a series of evenings. The dolls shown here are all made by participants.

We would be making a doll in your choice of skin, hair and eye colours. You can learn how to shape the head with tubular bandage and binding string, sew on the face fabric, embroider the features and attach the hair yarn onto a crochet cap. We will not have time to make doll clothes but I can share dress and dungaree patterns with you and may have some clothes for sale.

I use good quality natural materials including stuffing with organic British wool. I would encourage you to buy your own yarn for your doll’s hair which you will need to bring along. All other materials are included.

Skill level: all welcome in a small, well supported group, max 6 people. Many complete beginners come to my workshops. Older children welcome.
